Today's oil, gas, and electric prices continue to rise making it increasingly expensive to heat your home in the traditional manner. That's why many of our customers are turning to alternative methods, such as wood and pellet burning stoves as primary and/or supplemental heat sources.
A.W. Brown carries only premium grade, hard and soft wood pellet fuel from a variety of reputable manufacturers. With an ash content of less than 1% these fuels are the most efficient and cleanest burning home heating option with the least amount of clean up required. Unlike costly fossil fuels, wood pellets offer a renewable and recyclable energy source that is environmentally safe.
We also carry other home heating alternatives such as split firewood and coal.
The Cordwood Alternatives
BioBricks -
One pallet of our BioBricks(R) brings as much heat into your house as one cord of wood. That's one 4'x4'x3' pallet of BioBricks replacing a 4'x4'x8' stack of cord wood. Like Wood Pellets, BioBricks are cheaper than fuel oil, less polluting and greenhouse gas neutral, recycling the C02 that the tree absorbed in its life.
BioBricks are ideally sized for wood stoves. Packing density is optimized. This high density fuel extends your burn times greatly.
It is 100% wood, with no artificial binders and extremely cost effective: 1 lb of BioBricks equals 1.7 lbs of cord wood. BioBricks produce 1/2 the particulates (smoke) compared with good cord wood

Bioflamme Bio & Power Logs -
Our products are fuel materials composed solely of recycled natural wood. Commonly called Densified Wood Logs, these products are 100 % natural wood. They contain no additives such as paraffin or other petroleum-derived products.
